OpenAI rolls out GPT-6 with 'Intelligent UI' to every ChatGPT user, free tier included

OpenAI began rolling out GPT-6 in ChatGPT on October 7 with a new capability it calls Intelligent UI. Instead of only text, answers can now mix in graphics and charts, tappable buttons, forms and small interactive tools built on the spot for the task. Plus, Pro, Business and Enterprise users got it first, powered by GPT-6 Sol, and Free and Go users, on GPT-6 Luna, start getting it from October 8. Enterprise availability depends on workplace admin settings.

What it means for manufacturers and fabricators

Anyone on your team with a free ChatGPT account can now ask for a quick clickable tool, like a weight or cut-length calculator or a side-by-side comparison, so it's worth testing on a real shop question, and still worth double-checking any numbers before they reach a quote.
