P&G scales Siemens AI scrap-cutting inspection worldwide
Procter & Gamble is rolling out its Siemens-built Visual Inspection Cockpit across factories globally. The AI system inspects every product at full line speed, has cut scrap by 10–20% where it runs, and new installs commission five to 10 times faster than traditional machine vision.
What it means for manufacturers and fabricators
Big manufacturers are proving AI vision can cut scrap and scale plant-to-plant. The same scrap-and-rework math applies on a fab floor inspecting welds, cut parts or finished assemblies.
